On his last deep sea fishing trip, Greg caught a grouper that measured 20.716 inches in length. Rules require that grouper less than 22 inches in length be released back into the wild.

He's allowed to keep it is the fish is exactly 22 inches so you need to find the difference between 22 and the actual length of the fish (i.e. subtract how long the fish is from 22)

The answer is 1.284. Believe the answer because my teacher gave me home work and I got the answer correct. :)
