Now i need to use the word Antiphon in a sentence and i don't even know where to begin....

The definition our teacher gave us is: An anthem or a verse sung responsively.

So would it be correct if i said, 'Either way, it was way louder than the antiphon i'm used to!'
"way louder" = slang
