you might want to consider your friends feelings about her weight before writing a paper about her. how do you know she has an eating disorder anyway? being "over-weight" could just run in her family, and anyway, why do you think there is some specific weight to be "over"? there are way more pressing disorders than being over-weight such as anorexia which kills people more often then eating a lot does. if you would like to realize where your friend is coming from on not wanting you to write a paper about her weight, read Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer Niven. I hope you have a good day & holiday season :)

It's important to approach the topic of eating disorders with sensitivity and respect for your friend's feelings. If she has expressed discomfort or rejected your attempts to write about her weight or eating disorder, it's essential to respect her boundaries.
Instead of focusing on your friend's specific situation, you can consider writing a general paper that raises awareness about eating disorders. You can discuss different types of eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. You can also explore the possible causes and risk factors, the physical and psychological effects, and the available treatment options.
In your paper, you can emphasize the importance of understanding and supporting individuals with eating disorders, promoting body positivity and self-acceptance, and encouraging mental health resources and professional help.
Remember, it's crucial to respect your friend's boundaries and prioritize her well-being. If she doesn't want you to write about her specific situation, it's important to listen to her and find alternative ways to support her. Encourage her to seek professional help and be there for her as a friend.
