Ok so Im thinking I will use the theme of heroism (which is the human condition)

My arguments would be character, social position and ancestry

This is a book and movie comparative essay...
I have to do a comparative essay on a book and a film (I chose The Hobbit) .This is a comparison essay exploring to what degree an inherent film is discussed and how it relates to an aspect of the human condition.

I just need help making a really nice thesis with this information:

I will use the theme of heroism (which is the human condition)
My arguments would be character, social position and ancestry.

Here is an example of to kill a mocking bird:
While the book and film of To Kill a Mockingbird both underscore the theme of prejudice through symbolism, the book explores the negative aspect of social class division through characters and the film focuses on racism through conflict, to present how prejudice affects the justice system through discrimination.

Please help me make one like this...

Please don't give me links...

What on earth does heroism have to do with social position and ancestry? I have no idea where you'd go with this.
go on sparknotes...u will find out...this is about the hobbit...did u read the book or watch the movie...if u have a better idea please let me know.

Thanks
This is your paper. You need to show the reader what social position and ancestry has to do with heroism.
I deleted your last remarks because you were so rude to Ms. Sue. She was trying to get your attention so you'd stop trying to force your ideas into a paper where they won't work. It seems to me that no one has leveled with you before if you react this poorly to someone who is trying to get you to THINK so you can write your paper.

Here's the crux of what Ms. Sue last wrote: You need to show the reader what social position and ancestry has to do with heroism.

Who is the hero in this story? Is he/she portrayed equally in both the book and the movie? Why is he/she considered heroic?

What is the hero's ancestry? How does the character's ancestry contribute toward his/her heroic behavior? Is it the same in both the book and the movie?

Does the character's ancestry determine his/her social position? Explain in detail. Is this the same in both the book and the movie? Are both of these traits necessary for the character to be heroic? Why?

Start thinking and writing, Kristen.
