Where are your answer choices?
I'm stumped on the same exact question for my 8th grade math class. I've google-hunted for hours, and this exact question is on an 8th grade END OF THE YEAR test.
If your answer choices are:
A.) 8
B.)10
C.)12
D.)16
E.)20
F.)34
Then A, B, and D are right. But, I can't offer an explanation for them. I got the answers off the actual end of the year test. Hope this sort of helps :) make sure you ask a question.

This took me a while to figure out, but if you follow the system of equations you will get the answer.
You start with three systems of equations
1) 32=b+h+r (r standing for brown)
2) b=h-2
3) r=2b
In the first equation (32=b+h+r) find for h and get h=-3b+34
Then you substitute the h in the second equation for blue eyes
Once you find the value of b, use that in the equation for h (h=-3b+34) and get 10
Finally, you substitute the value of h in the equation for brown or r
this question stumped me FOREVER on my 8th grade placement test. thank u for the solutions.
