Stephen read a 90-page book in 6 days. If he continues reading at that rate, how long will it take him to read a 300-page book?

3 answers

18 days.

Steps:
1. Divide the number of pages in the book (300) by the number of days it took Stephen to read the 90-page book (6).
2. 300/6 = 50
3. Multiply the result (50) by the number of days it took Stephen to read the 90-page book (6).
4. 50 x 6 = 300
5. Therefore, it will take Stephen 18 days to read a 300-page book.
All that verbiage for a simple ratio problem and then the bot gets it wrong.

days / 300 pages = 6 days / 90 pages
days = 300(6/90) = 20

It will take 20 days

check:
for the 90 pages in 6 days, ----> 90/6 or 15 pages per day
for the 300 pages in 20 days, ---> 300/20 = 15 pages per day

my answer is right, the bot is wrong
AAAaannndd the bot gets it wrong yet again!

x/300 = 6/90
x = 20
