Use familiar figures to find the area of the figure shown. Show all work.

Please help I have no idea how to do this.

no idea? I doubt it.
Surely you know how to find the area of a rectangle or triangle (the familiar figures).
So, just add up the areas of
a triangle with base 3 and height 4
a rectangle with width 3 and height 10

That's my work. Surely you have some of yours as well.

Well just draw a rocket ship then put the numbers on there and try to sloved like that way I'm thinking i don't know this at all too.
