Not understanding how to answer this
You pore over the present evaluation: two intoxicated college females, one DUI and the other trying to run from police officers, both with no prior arrest, and both nursing majors at the local college.
As judge, you must decide whether to sentence them to probation or place them in a diversion program.Do you, as a judge, have any other options you can think of? Should you allow your personal beliefs about private agency to interfere with your sentence? What recommendations do you think the presentence investigators would make? What recommendations do you think the district attorney would make? How should private agencies be controlled and/or monitored to insure they are providing the service they should?
