Well, first things first.
Do you know which formula you'll be using for this?
Neil ran 1500 m in 6.5 min. Dario ran 400 m in 1.5 min. Whose average speed was greater? Show work

Nope - need help the whole way - supposed to be about ratios
I'm not sure how to solve this into a ratio, but a way you could find the average speed, would go like this. First, you'd change minutes into seconds, since you are dealing with meters. then divide. How many meters per second did each person run?
thank you
1500 meters in 6.5 minutes = 1500/6.5 =230.7 meters/minute
400/1.5 = 266.7 meters/minute
Dario ran more meters per minute.
400/1.5 = 266.7 meters/minute
Dario ran more meters per minute.
