need to dramatise this poem and answer two questions. so please help me.
ON THE DEATH OF ANNE BRONTE

there 's little joy in life for me,
And little terror in the grave ;
I've lived the parting hour to see
Of one I would have died to save.
Calmly to watch the failing breath,
Wishing each sigh might be the last ;
Longing to see the shade of death
Over those belovèd features cast.
The cloud, the stillness that must part
The darling of my life from me ;
And then to thank God from my heart,
To thank Him well and fervently ;
Although I knew that we had lost
The hope and glory of our life ;
And now, benighted, tempest-tossed,
Must bear alone the weary strife.

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. If you have never had a class in dramatics, this would be a valuable experience for you. First of all, look at each word in the poem. One exercise is to make a list of nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. to see the poet's choice of words.
As for the dramatization, you could use a flannel board to "tell the story" if you are an artist. Otherwise simple props can be effective. For example, tomb stone (like you see in yards at Hallowe'en, a clock or the face of a clock, even one of those timers with the sand running out to represent "time running out," bellows perhaps to represent breath/sighs, a cloud, heart. These can "set the scene"and dress all in black or wear a black arm-band to represent mourning. Just let your imagination take over and use body language. For example: you can imitate breathing slowing down, sighs, "strife" can be the dramatic motion of the back of your hand at your forehead.
If you have concentrated on the vocabulary, do you see the theme of death, love, religion? Be sure to "pray" even on your knees for dramatic effect.

The writer is grieving over a lost one.
stanza 1:
she feels no need to live and is no longer afraid of death. she would have died for the deseased person.
stanza 2:
At the time of the poem, Anne is dying right in front of charlotte and i is killing her inside to watch her die.
Stanza 3:
the world is still and she is thanking got that anne went in peace.
stanza 4:
she knows that, although anne is dead, things could of been worse and she needs to keep on living even if it will be a weary and daft life.
