thanks Brody
thanks Brody
-8 - 32 = -40
I got my answer off of the Google calculator and my computer calculator.
In order to get 24, you would have -8 - -32 = 24. In this case, it's not.
You are mistakenly subtracting a negative from a negative. I know that when a negative number is subtracting a negative number, it equals a positive.
In this case you aren't subtracting a negative from a negative. You are doing a negative subtracted by a positive. Therefore, the answer is -40 and not 24.
I hope this helps you understand, and you're welcome!:)
