need help on this review question. Determine each sum by writing an equivalent numberical expression using Commutative and Associate properties.
3 + 9 + 7 + 6
For commutative could you just put
3 + 7+ 9 + 6?
I'm confused on what do do for associative since there are no parenthesis in the original problem. Thanks,

Commutative means you can add in any order: 3 + 7 +9 + 6 = 9+6+3+7 = 25.
The Associative Property means that the
order of grouping does not matter:
(3+7) + (9+6) = (3+9) + (7+6) = 25.
You are correct on the Commutative
Property.
