One thing conservatives might say is that, because education is not mentioned anywhere in the US Constitution, it therefore falls into the powers delegated by Amendment X:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

One very strict interpretation of this is that the federal government should not be involved in education at all, that education (schools, laws, finances, teacher certification, etc.) should all be in the hands of each state.

My teacher has selected us to be in particular groups and I am a conservative. So I need to address Education and state the issues like how a conservative would. But I have no idea about it.
