Last summer, my father and I went to the Brahmaputra River. We went to that specific river to go fishing because there is enough fish to feed America. We got are two lucky fishing poles. My father wasn’t very lucky he couldn’t get a single fish on his hook. I caught the biggest fish ever! It was about 3ft long 1ft wide. My father was a bit jealous. He started catching smaller fish each time he tried. When we got home he told my mother the he caught the big fish, but she knew who really caught it

There are two sentences here, but they're punctuated incorrectly. What is the correct punctuation to put at the end of a complete sentence?
Answered by Writeacher
The word "are" is one form of the verb "to be."

The word "our" is the possessive form of the pronoun "we."

Which should be used to correct your first incorrect sentence?
Answered by YOLO
Okay so..
My father wasn’t very lucky. He couldn’t get a single fish on his hook.

We got our lucky fishing poles.
