My homework says "A circle is divided into 9 equal parts.Why is the measure of the angle?"I need help i dont get it!

I hope it says "What is the measure . . ."

A circle has 360 degrees. If you divide it into 9 equal parts each center angle is 360/9 = 40 degrees
