I'm very sorry to hear about your father's passing. It sounds like he was an incredible person who made a significant impact on many lives. Honoring him with a celebration in Boston is a beautiful way to recognize his legacy and the love he shared.

If you're looking to raise funds for this celebration, here are some steps you can consider:

  1. Set up a Fundraising Campaign: Platforms like GoFundMe, Kickstarter, or Facebook Fundraisers can help you reach a wider audience. Share your story, your father's legacy, and the purpose of the celebration.

  2. Share Widely: Use social media, email, and community boards to share your fundraising page. Encourage friends and family to spread the word.

  3. Plan the Celebration Details: Having specific details about the celebration (date, location, activities planned) can help people feel more connected to the event and may encourage them to contribute.

  4. Offer Ways to Honor His Memory: You might invite people to contribute not only financially but also by sharing their own memories and stories of your father, which can create a rich tapestry of his impact.

  5. Thank Your Supporters: Whether it’s through a shout-out on social media or a personal message, acknowledging contributions (no matter the amount) can help foster community and support.

  6. Consider Alternative Contributions: In addition to financial support, consider asking for volunteers who might help with setting up or planning the event.

  7. Focus on the Celebration: While fundraising is important, focusing on the love and connections you’re celebrating can be just as powerful.

If you need help with wording for your campaign or social media posts, feel free to ask, and I can assist with that as well. My thoughts are with you and your family during this time.
