Multiply and simplify

n^-4•n

I can't figure it out. I can't seem to follow steps

n = n^1

so, adding exponents,

n^-4•n = n^-4 • n^1 = n^(-4+1) = n^-3

or, since n^-4 = 1/n^4,

1/n^4 • n = n/n^4 = 1/n^3
