I am not sure If I add or multiply the exponents

would this be solved as
1-5x^6?

It's the same thing as
(1-5x³⁺³) = (1-5x⁶

(1-5x³)²
= (1-5x³)(1-5x³)
= 1 - 5x³ -5x³ + 25x^6
= 1 - 10x^3 + 25x^6
