I will correct an erroneous statement here. Mercury is NOT the only "substance" that is liquid at room temperature. What about water? What about methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, glycerin, and millions of other "substances". I know part of the problem. You actually didn't mean "substances". You actually meant "elements". However, that isn't true either.
Fr, Cs, Ga, Br are liquids, according to the periodic table, at room temperature. And to be perfectly picky about it, just what do you consider room temperature. Not everyone agrees on that number. Is it 20 C, 25 C, 30 C, 273 K? You gotta be careful when expressing yourself.
