Our production plant has made the decision to run third shift and weekends to complete the line of belts and wheels that were to be completed last week. We have never done this before but we will have to do so to reduce our backlog; the backlog of batches needs to be processed—immediately processed! We need to assess the overtime that will be involved in getting this completed.
Therefore, I am assigning the following people to be shift supervisors and to report directly to me: Howard Clark, supervisor for the third shift; Betty Miller, supervisor for the Saturday shift; and Clarence Hill, supervisor for the Sunday shift.
