Combine terms by adding 5x and subtracting 15 from both sides.
-11 = 9x
Divide both sides by 9.
-11/9 = x
May someone give me an example on how to do this "-5x+4=-4x+15"?

Thank you I get it now, do you have any examples for this one "-3x+1=-2x-3"?
wait never mind sorry i got it!
How do you get 5 and 15 though?
Since you have -5x on one side, to combine it with the 4x on the other side, you add 5x to both sides. This cancels out the -5x on one side and adds 5x to 4x on the other.
The same principle works with the 15.
The same principle works with the 15.
