slope = (-2-3)/(6-1) = -5/5 = -1
since the slope is supposed to be 3, as given, this question is flawed.
The equation would be
y-3 = -1(x - 1)
y - 3 = -x + 1
y = -x + 4
Don't know how or where (2,4) comes in, it certainly does not lie on this line
