Make corrections to the following:
Good afternoon Uncle,
This morning Tijuana replied to the message I sent them. They said that you will need to do a couple of changes in order to qualify for mexican citizenship in their office.
- Change your last name on your American Birth Certificate from Torrez "z" to Torres "s"
- Get a new US Passport and State issued ID with Torres "s"
- Change the name of your dad on your American Birth Certificate from "Jesus Torrez" to "J Jesus Torres Nuño" they want it to match.
- Obtain your mother's mexican birth certificate and amend the name if for some reason if it weren't to match.
I was thinking about this. Ask my Tia Chela if her old style mexican birth certificate mentions her mom's name and the exact location where she was born. That information could help us to look for your mom's birth certificate.
