I believe it is important that we remember the holocaust because bad and messed up things can still happen and if we learn about the holocaust we can try to prevent the things that happened during it in the future. To ensure that the holocaust is remembered it needs to be taught in school which it already is, though I think it would be beneficial to go into more detail about the holocaust when the next generations are old enough to hear it. (Like how bad the starvation and sickness were along with the punishments, work, and torture.) The holocaust teaches morals (Like lets not murder millions of people or even one person because of their religion, race or how they look nor put other people up or down because of their religion, race or how they look.) and that a seemingly small action can really make a difference,(Sneaking food to people who are starving.) it shows that on one side there can still be hope though many people have given up due to what is happening around them and to them, and on the other side there is pure destruction and the worst of deeds, and how both of these sides merge into what is known as the
