Lupita's family is taking me ice skating on the lake. I have never been ice skating before. Lupita says it's easy, but I"m not sure I believe her. The ice looks slippery. The blades on the ice skates are thin and look hard to stand on. Don't get me wrong, ice skating is beautiful when I fall on that cold, hard ice. Do they have any ice skates with training wheels?

How do you think the narrator is feeling about ice skating?

The narrator seems hesitant and unsure about ice skating, and they may be a little nervous or afraid of falling. They are skeptical about Lupita's assurances that it will be easy and are looking for a way to make it easier for themselves, like asking for ice skates with training wheels.
