100 = 10^2

10 = 10^1

logarithms are exponents -- powers of some base

regardless of the base, the logarithm of 100 will always be twice the logarithm of 10
ln(100)
= ln(10^2)
= 2ln10

so ln100/ln10
= 2ln10/ln10
= 2
also, this is just the change of base formula, so

ln(100)/ln(10) = log10100 = 2
