Orientalism is the study of Asia -- its people, culture, history, and archaeology. One of my favorite museums is the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago. It has a fabulous collection of ancient artifacts from Egypt and western Asia.
Legitimate study of Asians does not contribute to hate crimes!!!
