One sports skill that I improved upon this semester was my basketball shooting technique.

In the Preparation phase of shooting a basketball, I focused on getting into a proper shooting stance by bending my knees, keeping my feet shoulder-width apart, and holding the ball with my shooting hand on the side and my non-shooting hand under the ball. I also made sure to align my shooting hand with the hoop and keep my eyes on the target.

During the Execution phase, I worked on my shooting motion by bringing the ball up with my shooting hand, extending my arm and wrist, and releasing the ball with a flick of my wrist. I practiced shooting from various spots on the court and adjusted my shooting form based on the feedback I received from my coaches.

In the follow-through phase, I focused on maintaining a straight follow-through after releasing the ball, keeping my shooting hand pointed towards the hoop, and landing softly on my feet to ensure good balance. I also paid attention to my shot arc and worked on consistently getting the right amount of arc on my shots.

Overall, by focusing on the proper Preparation, Execution, and follow-through phases of shooting a basketball, I was able to improve my shooting accuracy and consistency throughout the semester.
