LiOH that remove 288 g CO2 from the air.
c. NaOH is less expensive per mole than
LiOH. Based on your calculations,
explain why LiOH is used during shuttle
missions rather than NaOH.

Convert 288 g CO2 to moles. moles = grams/molar mass.

Using the coefficients in the balanced equation, convert moles CO2 to moles NaOH.

Convert moles NaOH to grams. g = moles x molar mass.
