The answers is 1 1/2

have tries

0.2 + 0.25 + 0.75 = 1.20 or 1 1/5 ????

0.2 + 0.75 + 1 + 0.25 = 2.20 ???

fifth of one and a quarter:
(1/5)*(1 1/4)
= (1/5)*(5/4)
= 1/4
one and a quarter:
1 1/4
= 5/4

adding them,
1/4 + 5/4
= 6/4
= 3/2
= 1 1/2
