M= miles per gallon 21
X = miles driven ??
The problem would look like this:
60/21= 2.857 or 3 mpg
If u continue to solve the problem you will see that:
3 mpg * 60 gallons of gas = 180 mpg per 60 gallons

Your wording is quite wrong.
"180 mpg per 60 gallons". Nuts to that. it is 180miles per 60 gallons.

Secondly, I would never round up 2.857 to 3. Why would you do that?
