Let h(x) = f (x-pi). Find the domain and range of h.

1 answer

no way to tell without knowing f(x)

for instance if f(x) = x^2, domain of f = domain of h = all reals

if f(x) = 1/x, domain of f is all reals except 0, but domain of h is all reals except pi

similar difficulties exist with the range
