My favorite free-time activity is hiking in the mountains. I usually engage in this activity on weekends when I have more time to enjoy nature. I like hiking because it allows me to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and connect with the peacefulness of the outdoors. I prefer hiking over other activities because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and allows me to challenge myself physically and mentally. My best friend, on the other hand, enjoys painting as her favorite pastime. While we both have different ways of relaxing, we both appreciate the beauty in nature and art.
