Just blurting out an answer serves absolutely no purpose and goes against the
purpose of this webpage.
To me that is the same as claiming to be a real fan of a football team, never watching a game
simply looking at the score each week.
Luci's current age --- x
Laura's current age ---- 3x (it said : Laura is three times as old as Luci)
5 years from now:
Luci's age = x+5
Laura's age = 3x+5
it said: in 5 years from now, the sum of their ages will be 30 ----> x+5 + 3x+5 = 30
Now you have an equation to solve, which will give you the answer.
As a teacher, the above analysis is much more important to me than the answer.
