Lamar made a garden in the shape of a rectangle with an area of 36 square feet. The shorter side of the garden measures 4 feet. Explain how you can find the perimeter of the garden.

I can find the perimeter by knowing that one side of the garden is 4 ft. All you have I have to do now is divide 36 by 4.
I know this because i looked at the 36 square and drew it in a grid paper and then count it by fours
