Apparently I'm not understanding the chart.
Does she earn $19.00 for a 3 1/4 hour shift?
Kayla uses a rate table to keep track of how much she earns on her job based on how long she works.
hours worked: 2 1/2, 3 1/4, 4, 5, 6 1/2, 7 3/4, 8
Amount earned: ?, 19.00, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?
how much will Kayla earn if she works a 6 1/2 hour shift
I chose option D

I agree with Ms. Sue
If she earns $19.00 for 3 1/4 hours of work, then the
hourly rate is 19/3.25 = $76/13
then for 6.5 hours she makes 76/13*6.5 = $38
which is none of your choices.
