2 1/2 feet = 30 inches

30 / (9/16)

30 * (16/9) = 480 / 9 = 53.3 = 53 DVDs on one shelf

b. 30/60 = ?
I do not understand how to do part B.
because the original shelf is 2 1/2 feet and that will hold 53 DVDs but how to you figure out how much shelf (in feet) is needed for 60 DVDs?
Am I dividing 30/60 which is 2 and adding it to 2 1/2?
How do we do number 4
Good job, just change the fractions into improper fractions, and divide (but switch the reciprocal) :) :0 :D
