The total points is just the average times the number of tests. So, she needs
89+95+92+96+97+g >= 93*6
g+469 >= 558
g >= 89
so, 89 <= g <= 100
Jessica would like to get an A in her algebra class. To do so, she must have an average of no less than 93%. She scored 89%, 95%, 92%, 96%, and 97% on her first five tests. Assuming all six tests count the same toward her grade, write an inequality for the range of scores she can earn on the last test and still receive an A.
