Which of the fractions are larger than 13/16.
There are two ways to solve this problem. You can either change all of the fractions to decimals by dividing the numerator by the denominator or by changing all of the fractions to equivalent fractions with a common denominator. I find that working with fractions is messy, and I don't like messes.
13/16 = 0.8125
You need a piece that is more than 0.8125 inch.
It's obvious that only two of your choices are larger than that.
