I’ve known people like Molly who download music, but no one has ever tried to do it on one of my devices. If I had a friend who tried to download music on my phone, I wouldn’t care if they were angry at me when I said no. For the last question, I understand it would be really hard to avoid reading Carrie’s email, especially if she was mean to me. But logging her out of the account or clearing the cookies on the school computer is the right thing to do.

I thought it would be easier to drop off the computer at Alex’s house in question two. But, going to the parking lot of a police station is a better idea. I would never give out my home address to someone I don’t know.

I didn’t care when other people downloaded content before. Now, I realize that if people keep downloading files illegally, my favorite artists and actors might not be able to create more content. I’m happy to pay for music and movies if it means they can make more.

I’ve known a few people like Molly who like to download music, but no one has ever actually attempted to do it on my devices. If a friend were to try and download music on my phone, I wouldn’t hesitate to say no, even if it upset them. Regarding Carrie’s email, I can understand the temptation to read it, especially if there were harsh words exchanged. However, the best course of action would be to log her out or clear the cookies on the school computer.

Initially, I thought it would be simpler to drop the computer off at Alex’s place in question two, but leaving it at the police station parking lot is a much safer option. I would never feel comfortable giving my home address to someone I do not trust.

In the past, I didn’t mind when others downloaded content, but now I see the bigger picture. If people continue to download files illegally, it could jeopardize the livelihood of my favorite artists and actors, making it harder for them to produce new work. I’m more than willing to pay for music and movies to ensure they can keep creating.
