How embarrassing. Long story short, I typed the wrong problem with the wrong answers.
Here's the real question,"How have the Philippines and Indonesia become more democratic in recent decades?"
A. The military led coups to seize power.
B. Dictators imposed new constitutions.
C. Civil wars divided the countries between governments.
D. Popular movements demanded and won elected governments.
I will try not to be a doofus and post the wrong thing next time.
I've been struggling to answer this question, "When did most nations in Southeast Asia gain independence from European powers?" The answers include A. The military led coups to seize power. B. Dictators imposed new constitutions.
C. Civil wars divided the countries between governments.
D. Popular movements demanded and won elected government
I think it is B, because a president helped restore it, but she didn't impose any new constitution, to my knowledge. Please Help.

Hello! I will just give you both of the answers cause why not XD Also the sources from the websites I have used are going to be at the bottom of this if you need further helps or notes.
#1: I searched up this question and found this, "Between 1945 and 1960, three dozen new states in Asia and Africa achieved autonomy or outright independence from their European colonial rulers. There was no one process of decolonization. In some areas, it was peaceful, and orderly. In many others, independence was achieved only after a protracted revolution."(1) so this happended around 1945 through 1960. The vieitnam war started and finished from 1955 to 1975:
"The Vietnam War, also known as the Second Indochina War, and in Vietnam as the Resistance War Against America or simply the American War, was an undeclared war in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from 1 November 1955 to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975."(2)
So the answer from that question would be D.
during the Vietnam War.
Anyways, #2:
It is D. If you google democracy(3) its easy to figure it out in my opinion. I hope this finds you well!
