Asked by INEEDHELP!!!
ive been searching forever and i need to know what chromium (II) sulfate does, like what people use it for , whats its use...please help!
I looked it up in my copy of The Merck Index, page 2309, 12th edition and it lists the following:
"Use: analytical reagent, absorption of O2 from gas mixtures, dehydrohalogenating and reducing agent."
If I find something on the internet I will come back and give you the link.
I found two references that talked about debromination of two specific organic compounds and one that used it as a reagent to reduce uranium prior to potentiometric determination of U. I did not find anything like a summary of uses or anything like that. I search www.google.com for "uses chromous sulfate" and "chromous sulfate uses."
