They use the type of method when Armenian fought against the Turks in the Caucasus religion, and Turkish government claim that Armenian were their enemies. Other countries may reacted slowly to classify those act as genocide, Turkey doesn't because they don't recognize their countries, but maintain a relationship with Ottoman empire and Turkey.
