Is this sentence right. I mean wrote right

The people outside the Apple store, that have been waiting all night, are trying to purchase a new iPhone.

Victor wanted to impress Teresa,so he pretended to know French.

Do have the comma in the right place

Yes, the commas are placed correctly.
In your first sentence, change ‘that’ to ‘who’ since you’re referring to people, not things. I’d also write ‘new iPhones’ — plural since a bunch of people wouldn’t buy only one phone!
