is Soda

homogenous
or heterogeneous

1 answer

Soda is generally considered a homogeneous mixture. When you mix carbonated water, sugar, flavorings, and other ingredients to create soda, these components blend uniformly, and you cannot easily distinguish individual parts. However, if the soda is allowed to go flat or if it contains additional ingredients like ice or pulp (as in certain fruit sodas), it could exhibit heterogeneous properties. But in its typical form (carbonated soda), it is homogeneous.
