im kind of scared to try it out, is it true that that site gives you cookies, what if I click live help?
Answered by Writeacher
If you click on live help, you'll go into a converted chat room where there are teachers who can converse with you in either the chat room or a private message. I have no idea if the site "gives you cookies" or not!!

I don't recommend that site, because of the quality of assistance is uneven. The best are this site, and Tutor.com
Tutor.com is not a free site.

I agree, Bob.

Some public libraries subscribe to Tutor.com -- making it free to those who have cards for that library.

Is tutor.com free?
Answered by Ms. Sue
Tutor.com charges for individuals. However, some public libraries pay the subscription fee. Members of those libraries can use the Homework Help (Tutor.com) service free from either the library or home computers.

A few other organizations also subscribe to Tutor.com, making it free for their members.

As a former employee of Tutor.com, I found that operating in a chat room wasn't as desirable as it may seem. If the tutor makes a mistake, there's no way of contacting the student later to correct it. Since Jiskha messages are public, anyone can add to or correct an answer.
