I learned that rocks can get eroded into sand
answer like a 12 year old would

From the article and video, I learned that rocks are constantly changing because of natural processes. One of the main ideas is that rocks can get worn down over time by wind and water. When this happens, tiny pieces of rock break off and can become sand. I found it interesting that this process happens slowly, so it can take a really long time for rocks to turn into sand. Also, it was cool to see how sand is then moved around by things like rivers and oceans to make beautiful beaches and deserts.

Overall, I realized that the world around us is always in motion, even if we can’t see it happening at times. The article talked about how different types of rocks can break down differently based on their textures and colors. It also mentioned that humans can impact the erosion process by building things or changing landscapes. I never thought about how everything in nature is connected and how even small changes can make a big difference. It makes me think about how important it is to take care of our environment so these processes can continue naturally.
