This is good so far, Rose.
But I think you need to expand what YOU are going to do to help the environment. What are you going to use to carry your groceries and other purchases home from the stores? What plans do you have for recycling cans, bottles, plastics, and paper? What will you use instead of toxic chemicals on your lawn?
In your own words, define environmental sustainability. Then, list three behaviors of your own that threaten environmental sustainability. How could you change those behaviors to reduce threats to environmental sustainability?
Environmental sustainability is meeting current needs without jeopardizing the needs of the future. In essence, it entails the air that we breath, the water that we drink and a suitable climate.
Below are the three behaviors of my own that threaten environmental sustainability: Use of plastic bags, purchase of products that are not recycleable and use of toxic chemicals for my lawn.
In order to change those behaviors that will help reduce threats to environmental sustainability, everyone will need to take serious action by avoiding to use physical resources, use recycle products, drive less, and use renewable instead of depletable resources.
