I don't think your teacher wants the opinion of an anonymous Internet teacher. S/he wants YOUR opinion.

Consider --
If we bring home the troops soon,
Iraq will probably have more deaths
the other countries in the region might also go to war
or
they might pitch in to help stop the killing in Iraq
but
the U.S. will have less dead and wounded soldiers

If we leave our troops in Iraq,
Iraq may have fewer deaths
but
the U.S. will have many dead and wounded soldiers
the U.S. will continue to make the rest of the world mad at us because of this war.
