Just because something can be recycled doesn't always mean we can make more of it. Some things are just getting used up and won't come back. Like metal cans, we can recycle them, but the metal is still being taken from the earth and eventually there won't be any more to use. So, recycling is important but it's not the same thing as having a never-ending supply of something.
